Founded in 1976, Interamerican Bank is South Florida’s trusted community bank providing a full range of banking services to individual and corporate customers. Headquartered in Miami, the bank currently operates four branches in Miami-Dade County (Westchester, West Miami, Kendall, and Hialeah), and one in Palm Beach County.

The institution began in an office on Coral Way and Southwest 87th Avenue, under the leadership of its founder, Mr. Agustin C. Velasco. As its customer base and assets increased, the bank moved its headquarters to its present location on the corner of Coral Way and 92nd Avenue in 1983. Mr. Agustin Velasco, Jr. currently serves as Director, President & CEO, and Mr. Ibrahim Pacheco currently serves as Chairman of the Board.
